Theres was me thinging that evliatnary change was a sucessful mutation that allowed you to prosper...
Yeah you are right.... under certain conditions for example you are better off being black in sunny country than being white because of skin damage/cancer and what not. In not so sunny country's being white is an advantage as you can absorb more sun/vit D. So being white doesn't mean your more evolutionary advanced it just means your different.

That people make such a fuss is a clear sign that there's still a long way to go - in an ideal society, it would never occur to anybody to even mention what colour of hair, skin, eyes or anything else, a Presidential candidate happens to have.
However, since in the last 232 years no non-Caucasian has ever even got within smelling distance of the Presidency, it's still a big step forward from where they once were.
The strange thing is that people are more divided by class than race and the people running the show know this. An example, when two countrys go to war one side doesn't send the lower class' and the otherside sends everyone. Historically what happens is the poor on both sides are used as cannon fodder then after the war has ended the upper classes will start trading with eachother again. Who knows maybe one day when someone says something racist the only answer someone will be able to think of is "thats so so so.... 20th century!".
